GBPW Beta Testers

Sorry for being tardy in working through he beta test guide. I picked up an infection in my leg and have been in the hospital. Just got released today. As previously mentioned, I have been frought with issues just getting here. A summary of issues follows: 1. I did not receive the email that provided a link to GBPW and the login credentials. Perrin provided the link later in a dedicated email. (2) the email with the link has been difficult to locate after the initial opening. I have done various searches without success, but had written it down and after several "page not available" messages, it seemingly accidentally opened, (3) I did not receive "login credentials," so used my usual username and made-up a password. It seems to have worked, although I am not confident that the methodology is reproducible.

Hey all. I had some technical glitched trying to join this group. Perrin helped get me in. (Also, the log in auto-populate took three tries to fill in my log in info.) I had been keeping track of my notes as I worked through the worksheet. Here is what I found so far. I know the point is to be nitpicky and point out all the problems, but I also want to say how good the new sight looks! Very exciting!!

GBPW Beta Notes:

-I was never sent login credentials and spent the first two days trying to get into the page. Every link was broken or lead to a dead end and Perrin finally had to send me a direct log in link.

-Once on the log in page, I had to look around a bit for the log in button. I finally clicked on create an account and found the log in button there.

-There was nothing in the news feed to scroll.

-Notification bell had a1 indicator on it but when I opened notifications it said there were no notifications.

-It wouldn’t let me go straight to the newsfeed as the beta guide asks, but it did do a good job of directing me to complete my onboarding.

-Wouldn’t let me comment on Cheerlyn’s test post. But would let me comment on Irfans.

-Like buttons seems to be working fine.

-Was able to use the search bar to find Perrin’s course and join it.

-Accept and Follow Back buttons in the notifications for Domien did not work. It also did not work when I opened up the notification page.

-I was able to update bio. However, the birthday pop up calendar would select the wrong date when clicking. i.e. I was clicking the 3rd and it kept populating the 2nd.

-Trying to join the Beta tester group pops up an unexpected error.

-It added the group (beta tester) to my shopping cart.

-Everything worked fine for joining a course. I joined, opened, and went to the video.

-I was able to connect and accept requests in the members area.

-Settings worked fine.

Hi i find when you go to follow someone and connect its a pit lagging and confusing as when your connected there is a message button that don't work, am i connected don't know

Hi i go to courses tried to mark as completed I'm getting an application error i cant get out of have to close the page and go back to login

Thank you all for taking the time to be a beta tester. We really appreciate it.

Perrin may have already forwarded this, but we've prepared a first series of test cases to get you started. Please be critical: let us know if you notice any issues or have ideas for improvement. References or comparisons with other platforms are always welcome.

Keep in mind that at this stage, plenty of things won't work properly or will be buggy. That's exactly why we're doing this. You're our core group of testers.

A quick word on what's coming. From July 1st, we'll open up to more beta testers, and from September 2026, we'll ramp up with major campaigns to onboard hundreds of new testers, all with full access to current features. After December 2026, we'll keep a free tier available to maintain the community engagement we've built.

For now, please collect all your feedback in this group to keep things structured. We're shipping weekly deployments from here on out, so you should see steady progress week over week.
